Yarrow Tisane

I do not consider myself an herbalist nor an apothecary. I tend to lean towards how a warm and soothing tea can give us that little boost we need to get through the day.

But tisanes (teas without the caffeine and only consisting of herbs), tend to lean into their medicinal properties. I would be remiss to not mention those possible uses.

Calming properties. which likens it to chamomile. 

Indigestion including symptoms of a nervous stomach and ulcers

Alleviate mensterual  cramps, but should also be avoided by pregnant women as it can cause miscarriage. This is true for any herb with anti-spasmodic properties.

Mild expectorant properties to help with symptoms of colds and flu. 

Antiseptic and astringent qualities in yarrow make it a great topical herb on various cuts and wounds.
